The overall thickness is less than half an inch or around 11mm. That is very thin and if you have a modern mobile phone, you can compare it to that. Remember that this does need to move a bit when measuring weight, so that is even more amazing. The surface of the scale is stainless steel which means that it looks great, it is rust free and it is very easy to clean.

The package you will get for the 25 dollars price includes a pair of batteries that should keep the product going for around 10000 measurements. That is the type of information that says a lot about the product. I really think that it will do that number of measurements before needing a new battery.

The buttons on the front of the product are large enough and easy enough to use, so you shouldn’t have any problems with that. The screen is also big enough and it will make weighing ingredients a joy because it has the zero feature as well. As far as kitchen scales go this is one of the nicest looking ones and for one of the best prices.
